The problem of Human Trafficking is right here in our backyard. And our front yard. With Eugene and Springfield located on the I-5 corridor, we are a perfect storm of availability to traffickers traveling from the Mexican Border to the Canadian border. It affects children and young adults, males and females, and includes both labor and sex trafficking.
Springfield Rotary has developed a Human Trafficking Awareness Campaign and we are holding a candlelight vigil on January 5, 2022. We would like to announce this to all the local clubs and hope that some of your members will attend.
