COVID Service

Rotary Club of Eugene is working with Lane County Health Department to coordinate volunteers to assist with upcoming mass vaccination clinics.  We’re asking all Rotarians to step up and help our community return to normal.

Volunteer opportunities include processing paperwork, clerical work, answering calls, assisting with parking and crowd flow, and other duties.  Some jobs will be active, others not, such as staffing a registration table.

As of February 20, 2021, we have received 40 completed volunteer forms including the criminal checks. As this is a great response, we still need more people to volunteer. The clinic on February 20-23 was postponed because the vaccine was not received. (weather  related). Our next opportunity will be next weekend February 27-28. The plan is to have clinics every weekend until the program ends. This means volunteers all the way through the summer.

If you want to volunteer or know of someone who might be interested please contact me at petelauriegribskov@comcast.net. I will send you the forms and once completed you can email them back to me. Because of the criminal background check, it might take up to 2 days to receive clearance. The deadline to volunteer for the February 27-28 clinics is to have forms to me by Wednesday, February 24 at 5:00 pm.
